Michelle Walker helps women shake free of their blocks to creativity and success, so they can have a joyful life, and create a bigger, more positive impact in the world.
As a creative business and life coach, Michelle is passionate about showing women who are called to blaze their own trail, how to do so without losing their inspiration, or their sanity.
Through speaking, writing and leading workshops and in-person retreats, Michelle uses the act of art-making as a portal for mindfulness, insight and personal transformation. As well as working with groups and one-on-one clients, Michelle has a vibrant art practice based in northern NSW, Australia. She is a resident artist at Lismore Art Space and her artworks are in the collections of clients around Australia and the US.
Michelle is a self-confessed earth-child, lover of rainbows, and playful, joyful soul.
When it was time – a message from Michelle
I know about denying my creative side because it is my story too. About ten years ago, after running a successful consulting business for many years, working long hours to make decent money without a creative outlet, I decided IT WAS TIME.
I put creativity at the centre of my world.
Since then, I have reshaped my business offerings to something that filled me with joy – helping women who struggle to allow their creative side to shine through break free. After working with hundreds of individuals and teams, I discovered that many talented and passionate women kept their dreams in a shoebox because they couldn’t see how they could possibly make them real. This kept them blocked from pursuing their heart’s deepest desires. I realised that connecting these women to their deep wellspring of creativity was a huge factor in helping others who want to create a more joyful life.
My coaching programs, art courses and women’s retreats focus on helping soulful, savvy women unlock their creative talents and so step into the next best version of themselves!
My own journey
On my own journey, I have sought knowledge and wisdom from international experts in business and creativity coaching for my own personal development and business growth. Along the way, I have attained the following qualifications for my speciality fields:
- I am a Certified Creatively Fit Coach and studied with the talented Whitney Freya.
- I am a Certified Tapping into Wealth Coach and studied with the masterful Margaret M. Lynch.
- I am an accreditted Facilitator of Repairing Core Fractures and Clearing Toxic Emotions with Dawn Clark.
I live on a 170 acre farm called Serenity Hills (and yes, it is as peaceful as it sounds) inland from Byron Bay, Australia with my husband Ian and dog Lulu. We are blessed with oodles of wildlife, bird song, fresh air and gorgeous views of the valley and mountains nearby.
I run my coaching and visual thinking businesses from the farm’s old diary cold room.
I also have a thriving visual art practice that includes painting, enamelling and jewellery design. To see more of my artwork, go to my art page.
